Shopify Horizon Themes Version 1.0.5: New Product Card Options and Multiple Improvements

Horizon themes on Shopify are the latest set of themes announced at Shopify Editions Summer 2025. This collection includes ten free themes – such as Horizon, Pitch, Savor, and others – built on a unified, high-performance codebase. They offer flexibility and a variety of design presets to suit different industries and brand aesthetics.

Version 1.0.5 of Horizon themes is now available on Shopify, introducing new customization options and a series of important updates for merchants.

What’s new:

• Added “show second image on hover” and “show carousel” settings to product card global options
• Made the Hero section clickable directly within the theme editor

Fixes and improvements include:

• Simplified and localized unit price display
• Accessibility enhancements for the mega menu, quantity selector, and price component
• Improved image handling, including correct variant images and smarter placeholder loading
• More accurate cart bubble updates and improved support for multi-locale stores
